Após a realização do evento principal em 2003 o Brasil prepara-se para suas seletivas montando um grande espetáculo para as duas fases previstas do evento. As duas etapas (seletiva e final) contarão com a transmissão exclusiva da BandSports e grande divulgação da mídia especializada. Esperamos colocar nossos principais atletas participando das seletivas que com certeza será uma prévia do ADCC Finals 2005 programado inicialmente para o Japão.
1. Seletiva Nacional ADCC Trials Brazil 2004 Será realizada uma seletiva no Rio de Janeiro, na cidade de Campos nos dias 27 e 28 de novembro de 2004. O promotor local será o Prof. Leandro (organizador do famoso Submission de Campos). A Final será realizada em São Paulo no Ginásio Geraldo José de Almeida, Ibirapuera nos dias 11 e 12 de dezembro, reunindo os classificados da seletiva do Rio e os convidados para a final.
2. Inscrição - Todos que desejarem participar do circuito ADCC Brazil Trials 2004, seletiva do Rio ou final de São Paulo deverão enviar currículo à organização para apreciação. - Para a seletiva nacional, à ser realizada na cidade do Campos – RJ, serão selecionados no máximo 32 atletas por categoria que lutarão em sistema de eliminatória simples até determinar-mos os quatro classificados por categoria para a final. Para esta seletiva, atletas do Brasil inteiro poderão participar, pois trata-se da seletiva nacional. - Estes quatro classificados por categoria, a saber: 66 Kg, 77 Kg, 88 Kg, 99 Kg e + de 99 Kg, se juntarão a quatro convidados por categoria que formarão uma chave de oito atletas em cada categoria. - Terão preferência ao convite para a final os campeões das seletivas anteriores. Porém nenhum atleta têm previamente vaga assegurada, o que ressaltamos ser indispensável o envio de currículo para análise.
3. Pré-classificados Somente têm vaga assegurada para o ADCC 2005, sem necessidade de participar das seletivas , os campeões do ADCC 2003.
4. Arbitragem - A arbitragem durante a seletiva do Rio e a final de São Paulo, será a oficial do ADCC, com árbitro internacionais. - Durante o intervalo da seletiva do Rio e a final de São Paulo, a organização promoverá um curso de formação de árbitro brasileiros no regulamento Submission ADCC, para desenvolver-mos o esporte em nosso país.
5. Valor da inscrição Para a seletiva nacional será cobrada uma taxa de participação de R$50,00 por atleta. A taxa de participação da final será isenta.
6. ADCC 2005 Trials Estarão automaticamente classificados os campeões de cada categoria para a final mundial do ADCC, em 2005. Porém todos os atletas participantes do evento brasileiro podem a vir receber um convite especial da organização de acordo com a sua desenvoltura na competição.

Information ADCC Brazil Trials 2004
After the main event in 2003, Brazil is getting ready for two upcoming trials and preparing a major event for the two stages scheduled. Both rounds (trials and final) will be transmitted by BandSports TV, whereby a large amount of coverage from the specialized media is expected. We look forward to including our top athletes in the trials, which without a doubt will provide us a preview of what the ADCC Finals 2005, to be hosted in Japan, will be like.
1. ADCC Trials Brazil 2004 The trial will be held in the city of Campos, Rio de Janeiro, on November 27-28, 2004. The local promoter will be instructor Leandro Ribeiro (the renowned organizer of Submission de Campos). The final will take place December 11-12, 2004, in São Paulo at the Mauro Pinheiro Gymnasium, Ibirapuera, which will include the athletes that qualified in the Campos-RJ trial, as well as athletes invited for the final event.
2. Registration · Those who wish to participate in the ADCC Brazil Trials 2004 tournament, the Rio trial or the São Paulo finals shall submit a résumé to the organizing committee for review. · For the national trial, to be held in Campos–Rio de Janeiro, a maximum of 32 athletes per weight class will be selected, who will fight under a single elimination format until reaching the four best candidates that will go the final event. Since this is a national trial, athletes from all over Brazil are invited to participate. · The four athletes that qualify in each weight class: 66Kg, 77Kg, 88Kg, 99Kg, and 99+Kg, will join four guest athletes per weight class to form an 8-man draw in each weight category. · In selecting the guest athletes, preference will be given to champions of previous trial events. However, no athlete has a guaranteed a spot, this being the reason why we request that everyone send in their résumés for analysis.
3. Prequalified Candidates Only the ADCC 2003 champions have a guaranteed spot in the ADCC 2005 event and do not have to participate in the trials. The prequalified athletes are: Category up to 66kg: Leonardo Vieira Category up to 77kg: Marcelo Garcia Category up to 88kg: Saulo Ribeiro Category up to 99kg: Jon Olav Einemo Category +99kg: Márcio Pé de Pano
4. Referees · Referees for the Rio trial and São Paulo final will be from the ADCC official committee, with international referees. · During the interval between the Rio trials and São Paulo final, the organization will be promoting a preparatory course to prepare Brazilians to be referees in the ADCC Submission rules in order to develop the sport in our country.
5. Registration Fee For the national trial, a fee of R$50,00 will be charged for each competitor. No fee will be charged for the finals.
6. ADCC 2005 Trials The champions of each weight class will automatically qualify for the 2005 world finals. However, all athletes participating in the event may receive a special invitation from the organizing committee according to their performance in the competition.

8- Résumé All athletes wishing to participate in the trial round must submit their résumé by e-mail or fax by October 30th. The final list with the 32 classified athletes per weight class for the Campos-RJ trial (November 27-28) will be published on November 5th, who must then confirm their participation.
